SCOTT B. SPRIGGS: President, Managing Partner
Mr. Spriggs graduated from the University of Southern California in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Finance. He received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law in 1984, having been on the Dean’s List and receiving scholastic honors. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Order fraternity, the Squires Men’s Organization at the University of Southern California and is a member of the U.S.C. Alumni Association. His practice is concentrated in the areas of products liability, premises liability, professional malpractice, automobile and transportation cases, wrongful death, municipalities and school district defense, insurance law, construction defect and toxic waste cases. Mr. Spriggs is admitted to practice in all State Courts and before the United States District Courts in California-Central District.
In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Spriggs stays on top of his trial practice by lecturing and providing ongoing CEB seminars to various carrier entities.
Mr. Spriggs also holds membership in the following esteemed organizations:

MISTY W. TURCO: Associate Attorney
Ms. Turco graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hardin-Simmons University in Texas in 1989, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. She received her Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law in 1992, and was admitted to practice in the State of California the same year.
Ms. Turco joined our firm in 1998 and is admitted to practice law in California and before the United States District Courts in California – Central District.
QINGLAN “MELODY” YE: Associate Attorney
Mr. Ye graduated in 2007 from Shanghai International Studies University, Shanghai, China and received her Bachelor of Law degree in International Economic Law. In 2010, Ms. Ye graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai, China, wherein she received her Master of Law Degree in International Law. In 2011 she graduated from University of Illinois, College of Law, Champaign, Illinois and received her Master of Law Degree. Ms. Ye was admitted to practice law in State of New York in 2013 and in 2019 she was admitted to practice law in State of California. Ms. Ye joined our firm in 2020.
